About Us

The New Mexico Law Enforcement Officers Fund is a 501c3 that is dedicated to providing support for the men and women of law enforcement in the city of Albuquerque and their families during times of crisis.  We  are also dedicated to enhancing law enforcement programs and public safety initiatives to make our city a safer place to live.

The NMLEO Fund was born out of tragedy, the day that Albuquerque Police Officer Daniel Webster was shot and killed in the line of duty. His horrific death brought our state together and a large outpouring of support came forward for his family. Unfortunately, many different fundraising pages popped up and people in the community were confused about how safe it was to give to these pages.

The Albuquerque Police Officers Association saw an need for a nonprofit that could step in and assist injured officers, and families of fallen officers, and they created the New Mexico Law Enforcement Fund in 2018.

In our first year we donated more than $12,000 to injured officers and families of fallen officers.
